Dr. Kalam Ahmed is an internationally trained plastic surgeon whose work is defined by precision, refinement, and a deep understanding of human anatomy. With more than two decades of experience across reconstructive, aesthetic, and academic plastic surgery, he is known for results that are elegant, natural, and unmistakably sophisticated.

Elite training and academic foundation
Dr. Ahmed first completed his Master of Science in Medicine at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he combined his medical studies with clinical research and published in peer-reviewed medical journals. This academic foundation continues to support his structured and evidence-based approach to both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
He subsequently entered the plastic surgery residency program at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, one of Europe’s most respected academic institutions. During this period, he received advanced training in reconstructive oncology at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital and specialized in burn and scar surgery at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk, internationally recognized for its excellence in burn care and wound healing.
Dr. Ahmed is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and a fully licensed board-certified plastic surgeon in The Netherlands.
Surgical artistry
Dr. Ahmed is recognized for his exceptional three-dimensional understanding of facial and body anatomy. Through advanced dissection courses and fellowships across Europe, the United States, South America, and Asia, he has refined techniques that allow him to sculpt with accuracy and restraint.
His expertise includes advanced endoscopic facelift, extended deep-plane face and necklift surgery, breast surgery and body contouring, as well as the use of modern implant and nanosurface technologies. He is frequently invited to lecture and perform live surgery at international meetings, where his work is admired for its balance between bold technical control and subtle aesthetic outcome.

Beyond private practice, Dr. Ahmed has participated in multiple humanitarian surgical missions with Doctors of the World and Interplast in Bangladesh and Morocco, performing complex reconstructive procedures for patients with limited access to care. These experiences continue to shape his philosophy that true aesthetic surgery begins with respect for function, form, and human dignity.
