At Gooimeer Clinics, we are looking for a medical assistant—preferably with surgical experience—who thrives on variety, responsibility, and working in a high-end clinical environment.
We are a fast-growing clinic in the heart of Almere Poort, founded by plastic surgeons Dr. Wouter van der Pot and Dr. Kalam Ahmed, two specialists who believe that plastic surgery can be safe, natural, and personalized. No quick fixes, no shortcuts. Instead, we offer genuine care, honest information, and top-level surgical expertise.
From breast procedures and facial surgery to endoscopic procedures and body contouring, at Gooimeer Clinics we offer the full range of services, from the initial consultation to the final follow-up. In addition, this year we are also launching skin therapy and injectables, in collaboration with skin therapists and cosmetic doctors.
What do we need for this? A practice assistant who is just as passionate as we are.
As a medical assistant, you’ll be a true jack-of-all-trades. You’ll combine patient care with medical-technical procedures and organizational tasks.
Your duties will include:
Front desk and telephone duties
Handling consultations
Providing information to patients (pre- and post-operative)
Removing sutures
Assisting with outpatient procedures
Preparing the outpatient operating room
Working according to sterile protocols
Administration and working in the EPD
Your daily schedule can vary greatly; from morning consultations to afternoon shifts in the outpatient surgery unit, with follow-up visits for your own patients in between
No two days are the same: adaptability, initiative, and teamwork are key.
You have an MBO diploma as a Medical Assistant
You are available at least 3 days, but preferably 4 days a week
You are flexible, independent, and enjoy variety
You work accurately and with a patient-centered approach
You have strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
You have a good command of both Dutch and English (many international patients)
Experience in an outpatient OR is a plus
Experience with an EHR system (CNS) is a plus
Salary ranging from €2,864 to €4,770 (based on full-time employment) in accordance with the ZKN Collective Labor Agreement (scale 40–45)
Temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position
Working hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Travel allowance (€0.23/km, max. 50 km one way)
